PARENTS SECTION – Family Fun

Many games such as The Game of Life, Yahtzee, Battleship, Tangrams and playing cards are based on math concepts and are enjoyed by many people who do not consider themselves good at math. In fact, these games have met the standards set by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), an organization and the public voice of mathematics education, which provides the vision as well as leadership and professional development to support teachers in ensuring equitable. To better understand how you can help improve your child's mental math skills and reduce math anxiety contact us.

Once you have the Math Attack book and playing cards, you can spend hours of family time reading and playing together while you improve your mental math skills as well as improve your teamwork and cooperation skills, all of which is useful in school and on the job.
